Question:  What do I need to rent a Wheelchair Accessible Van?

Answer:  You must be 25 years or older and have full coverage insurance that will cover the van rental period.  We will need a copy and proof of your insurance.

Question:  What do I do if a van breaks down?

Answer:  Call us right away but all of our vehicles include Roadside Assistance for your convenience.  We maintain our vehicles regularly and ensure they are safe and reliable.  Information for roadside assistance will be in your glovebox.

Question:  What do vehicle rentals come with?

​

Answer:  All vehicles include security tie downs and include either a rear entry or side entry ramp for wheelchair access.  Each vehicle is modified to provide more space in order to accomdate our customer's needs.

Question:  Do I need a special driver license?

Answer:  No, our vehicles require standard driver license to operate.

Question:  Why are Non Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) services more expensive than vehicle rentals?

​

Answer:  It costs more to the business.  The cost of specialized wheelchair vehicles is far higher than non-wheelchair accessible vehicles.  When transporting the insurance on these vehicles is exceptionally high compared to standard insurance rates.  For NEMT transport you must also pay a trained driver to assist in the transportation process.  If it is a round trip service the driver must be paid for the time spent waiting as well.  There are conveniences to this service but we also offer more affordable alternatives that eliminates these expenses to help empower our customers.

Question:  Where are you located and what cities do you offer rentals in?

Answer:  Currently we offer rentals in the following cities:  

​

Texas:  Tyler, Longview, Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Fort Worth, Abilene, Beaumont, Orange, Port Arthur, Houston, San Antonio,  Lubbock, Temple, Waco, and Killeen

Louisiana:  Baton Rogue, New Orleans, and Shreveport

Question:  If I can't pick up the vehicle can one be brought to me?

Answer:  Yes, we will deliver and set you up with a vehicle for a fee.  Please contact us to work this out and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Question:  Are long term rentals available at a discount?

​

Answer:  Yes, we are happy to rent for longer periods of time and will provide a discount.  Call us or contact us and we will be happy to work out a deal with you.

Question:  Can I take the vans or buses out of state?  

​

Answer:  Absolutely!  We would never prevent a customer from going to places they want to go. (Insurance will not cover out of country unfortunately so that is not allowed.)  But just make sure you understand the additional mileage charge once you exceed the daily limit.  If you rent for longer periods of time, we will have flexibility- just reach out to us and we will do our best to work with your circumstances.
